We are looking for an experienced Java developer to join our team and help us take banking systems to the next level. You will be involved in the development of internal applications with a focus on backend systems, designing data models and integration interfaces, and working with modern technologies such as containerization, Kubernetes, and Quarkus. Your main responsibilities will include development in Java (currently version 17, soon transitioning to 21), testing, and supporting the operation of our applications. Experience in the financial sector is a plus, but what matters most to us is a willingness to learn new technologies, a proactive mindset, and the ability to drive things forward. • You will be involved in the development of the bank’s internal applications with a focus on backend systems
• Designing data models and system interfacesLearning and working with cutting-edge technologies such as containerization, Kubernetes, Quarkus, and more
• Developing program code in Java (currently version 17, transitioning to 21 in the future) and verifying its functionality with appropriate tests
• Identifying necessary integration interfaces and contributing to their implementation
• Supporting other departments in the operation of internal applications

• At least three years of experience in backend application development in Java EE
• Experience in a financial institution is welcome but not required
• Willingness to work primarily from the office
• Proactivity, independence, and the ability to drive things forward
• Willingness to learn modern technologies and methodologies and support applications throughout their CI/CD lifecycle
• Communicative knowledge of Czech
