You met Tomáš Těthal, the CEO of Devcity, during your studies, is that correct?

Yes, that’s correct. We met at the Faculty of Transportation Sciences at CTU, studying Intelligent Transportation Systems. Later, I completed my studies at Fachhochschule Technikum Wien. Tomáš and I shared an interest in transportation systems, and our first projects focused on transportation topics.

What kind of projects were those? I assume they were outside of Devcity?

We started small. For example, we worked on warehouse logistics systems for food transportation companies. Later, I went to Vienna to complete my studies, while Tomáš established his first company. Under its umbrella, we executed our first major transportation project: infotainment for a rail operator.

I know you’ve been involved in numerous projects at Devcity. What are you working on today?

Today, I’m working on integrating AI into a platform that enables no-code process automation at several levels. We’ve developed an AI Assistant, focused on creating generic AI Agents, built a suite of AI Tools, and operate a Human-in-the-Loop application. Additionally, we process and evaluate data extensively. At Make, I also focus on adopting A/B testing, user tracking and tracing, and finding new ways to integrate Make into external systems.

Would you say this project demonstrates significant progress in AI development?

Absolutely. We aim to stay ahead in a highly competitive field. Integration platforms and AI are deeply interconnected today. It’s crucial to identify the right added value and create solutions that leverage it. Our work is very dynamic, as new technologies and approaches emerge. We experiment frequently but ensure we maintain rapid delivery of functional and valuable solutions.

Devcity has been your “home” since its inception. What does being associated with the Devcity brand mean to you?

For me, Devcity is a platform. We’ve proven our ability to create projects, fix issues, and excel within large-scale initiatives. I dare to speak for Devcity when I say we’ve made significant strides in enhancing our capabilities.

Could you define a project topic that would be your ideal project in terms of its theme and objectives?

Throughout my academic and professional life, I’ve been focused on machine learning, systems integration, and technology in general. These three areas can be used to make a positive impact. For me, it’s important to keep learning, exploring, and helping others.
