The trailer opens with Henry being threatened by a figure with a crown on his head. It doesn't take long, however, for Henry to break free to do what heroes do - ride his trusty steed across the sunset-drenched Bohemian plains. At the same time, everyone speaks with an incomprehensible British accent, and the unfortunates of the Middle Ages hang from the branches of trees. Without it, you'd hardly know a civil war was raging. This is how visual storytelling works.

Henry walks through several pubs, muddy streets and picturesque meadows - all of which are stunning scenes - and finally, after a brief stop at a place full of gallows, comes what we've all been waiting for. A duel is inevitable, and Henry is ready with enough swords for everyone.

The slashing and stabbing festival doesn't last long. Henry does tighten his crossbow for a moment, but that's more of a formality before he goes back to his favorite hobby - hitting enemies with every bit of his longsword.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is released on February 11, 2025, slightly delayed from the original 2024 release date.
