Senior SOC Analyst
General
Become part of a team protecting the critical infrastructure of an international energy company. We are looking for an experienced Senior SOC Analyst who will help build and continuously improve a modern Security Operations Center with a strong focus on automation, efficiency and proactive cyber defense. You will work across IT, OT and cloud environments, closely collaborating with the Security Operations Manager, CISO and other cybersecurity specialists. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening the organization's security posture and improving its security processes.
Mission
- Lead and coordinate security incident response from investigation through recovery, including development of Incident Response processes, playbooks and escalation procedures.
- Collaborate with the external SOC provider and oversee its operations.
- Perform proactive Threat Hunting across IT environments together with the OT Security team while monitoring emerging attacker TTPs and incorporating them into detection scenarios.
- Own and continuously improve Vulnerability Management using tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, WIZ and Cortex Cloud.
- Automate security operations to improve response times, eliminate manual activities, enhance SOC detection capabilities, develop new use cases, optimize security technologies and validate detection mechanisms against real-world attack techniques.
- Create dashboards, reports and security metrics.
- Share knowledge across the team.
- Mentor colleagues.
- Support continuous improvement of the security team.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
Skills
- 6–8+ years of experience in Cyber Security with a focus on Security Operations, Incident Response or Security Engineering.
- Experience securing hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud).
- Strong knowledge of Incident Response, Threat Hunting and Vulnerability Management.
- Experience with endpoint protection, vulnerability management and security monitoring solutions.
- Experience creating and tuning detection rules and SOC use cases.
- Ability to design and implement Security Operations automation.
- Knowledge of security standards, compliance requirements and security frameworks.
- Strong analytical thinking and proactive mindset.
- Experience leading projects or coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to business stakeholders.
- Interest in applying AI in cybersecurity.
- Fluent English.
