Security Network Engineer

General

We are looking for an experienced Security Network Engineer to join a team responsible for designing, implementing and continuously improving network security across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments. Based in Prague, this hybrid role suits someone who enjoys combining project work, solving complex technical challenges and improving enterprise security architecture.

• You will become part of a team responsible for securing modern network infrastructure in a hybrid environment. Your work will include designing and implementing security solutions, supporting strategic initiatives and resolving operational incidents. You will collaborate with internal teams as well as external vendors while contributing to automation, standardization and long-term security architecture improvements. This role combines project delivery with operational responsibilities in a dynamic environment that requires high-quality execution and strong ownership.

Mission

• Design and implement network security solutions (firewalls, VPN, segmentation and cloud connectivity).
• Solve complex technical challenges across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
• Deliver projects from solution design through implementation to production handover.
• Automate and standardize infrastructure using Terraform and scripting.
• Investigate security and network incidents and identify root causes.
• Continuously improve network security technologies and operational processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external technology partners.
• Maintain technical documentation and architectural standards.

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, routing and switching).
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto NGFW.
• Strong experience with enterprise firewalls and VPN technologies.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex enterprise network environments.
• Experience administering Linux or Windows servers in enterprise environments.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
