IT Analyst
General
The project focuses on the analysis and design of backend services as part of the modernisation of key banking applications such as CSS, CEBSE and CEBBE. The main task is to migrate services from the original monolithic solution into a new modular architecture, where individual components operate independently.
Alongside straightforward rewrites, the role also involves more complex scenarios — in particular, designing the communication between modules correctly and preserving existing functionality. A key part of the work is careful analysis of existing services, gathering information from various sources and designing solutions in line with the current methodology.
The project covers large-scale banking systems with several hundred APIs and a wide range of integrations with surrounding applications that support the life cycle of corporate products and orders.
Mission
- Analyse backend services based on business requirements
- Model service logic, API design, API mappings and logical database structures in Enterprise Architect
- Create analytical models in line with the internal banking methodology
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, testers, business departments and external vendors
- Provide analytical support during testing activities
Skills
- At least 5 years of analytical experience for a Senior level, or at least 3 years for a Medior level
- Strong analytical and logical thinking
- Knowledge of UML
- Knowledge of SQL and software development principles
- Experience from ČSOB or another large corporate environment, ideally within the banking sector
- English language skills (at least at documentation reading level)
