IT Business Analyst / Solution Architect
About the project
We are looking for an IT Business Analyst / Solution Architect to join an established Branch Applications and Client Identification team.
The role covers both backend systems orchestrating client identification processes and modern front-end applications used by hundreds of internal employees across branches and other divisions.
You will work with modern identity verification technologies and within an agile SAFe environment. Your main responsibility will be to connect business and IT, analyse and structure requirements, propose solution alternatives and create Solution Architecture for individual projects.
You will also participate in projects and Proofs of Concept that explore new technological opportunities and support them throughout the project lifecycle, from initial definition through IT analysis and design to development and testing.
Mission
- Act as the main point of contact between business and IT during project preparation
- Coordinate inputs into project documentation from all involved roles
- Define, analyse and prioritise detailed project requirements
- Ensure the quality of requirements and their alignment with both business and IT strategy
- Prepare high-level alternatives for IT system solutions
- Coordinate effort estimates across participating IT roles
- Prepare high-level project timelines and project initiation documentation
- Create Solution Architecture for individual projects and further develop the proposed solution during subsequent project phases
- Provide consultation during IT analysis, design, development and testing
- Maintain continuous communication with assigned project stakeholders and understand their medium-term plans
- Manage the roadmap of activities and projects, including timing, scope and resource dependencies
- Participate in the creation and implementation of IT strategy aligned with business strategy
- Plan the future development of applications and related processes
- Monitor technology trends, innovations and market best practices and identify opportunities for their application
- Participate in system architecture design and system development in accordance with the bank's IT strategy
Skills
- University or secondary school education
- At least 3 years of experience in software development or implementation projects
- Very good command of English
- Experience coordinating project teams
- Experience with both agile and waterfall delivery
- Strong analytical thinking and knowledge of UML
- Proactive and customer-oriented approach
- Strong presentation and argumentation skills
- Basic knowledge of project management and release management
- Ability to quickly understand new domains and identify possible solutions
- Experience in the financial sector is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architect is required
- Knowledge of Confluence and Jira is an advantage
