Tester / QA Engineer
About the project
We are looking for an experienced Tester / QA Engineer who, besides manual testing, is also familiar with automated tests and ideally has experience with the Microsoft Azure environment.
You will work on a project where you will not merely run pre-prepared tests. We are looking for someone who can independently design test scenarios, coordinate the necessary inputs with other team members and think about how to move the whole testing process forward.
The cooperation is planned as part-time, with the option to work full-time during the first month and then continue part-time. Start is possible ASAP.
Mission
- Design, prepare and execute test scenarios across the application
- Combine manual testing with automated tests
- Develop and maintain automated tests according to the project's needs
- Propose a way to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD process
- Ideally use Azure to run tests automatically, for example following the deployment of a new build
- Identify, report and then track the defects found
- Cooperate with developers and other team members on resolving issues
- Independently obtain the necessary information and inputs from colleagues
- Come up with your own ideas for improving testing and QA processes
Skills
- Several years of experience in software testing / QA
- Experience with manual testing and creating test scenarios
- Hands-on experience with test automation
- The specific programming language or automation framework does not matter
- Knowledge of Azure is a great advantage, especially experience with integrating tests into CI/CD
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the assigned area
- Analytical thinking and an eye for detail
- Ability to communicate with developers and other team members
- Willingness to look for your own solutions and actively propose improvements
- A junior profile is not suitable for this position
